How You Will Contribute to Our Team
In order to guarantee that the Catering Contractor adheres to the Company’s Standards and Specifications for the provision of Catering and Hospitality services, including but not limited to Food Safety Management Systems, Menu & Product Development, Food Sanitation & Hygiene, Customer Service, Contract KPIs, and other associated administrative tasks, the candidate will be a member of the Catering Services team.
How You’re Going to Act
The main responsibilities, tasks, and functions of the position:
- Verify caterers’ food preparation practices every day to make sure they are following the company’s food safety guidelines and requirements. This includes checking the temperature of storage and serving areas.
- Perform routine inspections of kitchen and cafeteria facilities for food sanitation and hygiene, and make sure that any deficiencies found are filled.
- Acknowledge requests for hospitality services and communicate with the caterer to guarantee that they are fulfilled as planned.
- Verify that consumer issues are finally addressed by following up.
- Engage in actions related to menu and product development.
- Assistance with the Catering Services team’s administrative tasks.
- Verify incoming food material deliveries for quality assurance and control to make sure they meet specifications.
Regarding You
You must have finished the NYSC (National Youth Service Corps) program in the previous two years.
- Your resume should include the degrees and certifications needed for the position; if a real degree is not needed, it is permissible to list “B.S. or equivalent work experience”: BSc or BTech in Microbiology, Hospitality & Catering Management, or Food Science/Technology with at least a 2nd Class Upper who has served in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) for the last two years.
- Being open to taking part in the company’s one-year graduate internship program.
