The Federal College of Education, Yola, was established in 1974 and occupies a land area of 155 hectares along the Jimeta-Yola Road in Adamawa State. The vision of the college is to be a leading college in Africa in the training of efficient and creative teachers and the promotion of professionalism, research, and community services.

Requirements
- Candidates must possess a good degree in nursing from a recognized institution of higher learning plus an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
- The candidates must also possess the relevant cognate work experience and evidence of membership with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) with a current practice license and demonstrate a good knowledge of computers.
