Job Summary
- We are seeking a talented assistant warehouse manager to join our warehouse team.
- The successful candidate should be able to ensure that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
Responsibilities
- Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with the company’s policies and vision.
- Assist in receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
- Assist in setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
- Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security.
- Assist in the management of stock control and reconciliation.
- Produce reports and statistics regularly.
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.
Requirements and skills
- BSc Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration
- The candidate must hold a 2:1 degree or higher.
- At least 4 years proven work experience as an Assistant warehouse manager
- Possess warehousing skills tailored to the Organization (Experiential Marketing or similar)
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Leadership skills and ability manage staff
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills.
