About the Role
- We are looking for a driven and innovative Mechanical Engineering Graduate Trainee to join our engineering team within the mining sector.
- This role provides an excellent platform for recent graduates to gain practical exposure in mining operations, mechanical systems maintenance, and industrial machinery.
- You’ll be mentored by experienced engineers while contributing to the optimization of plant equipment and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in the maintenance and repair of mining equipment and heavy-duty machines
- Assist in analyzing mechanical failures and proposing solutions
- Collaborate with senior engineers on equipment design improvements
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure efficiency in operations
- Maintain proper documentation and technical records of maintenance activities
- Uphold company standards for safety, health, and environmental practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong technical curiosity and willingness to learn in a hands-on environment
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, or thermodynamics
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
