Job Description

- As an IT specialist, you will ensure the smooth operation of the company’s IT infrastructure, provide technical support, and lead the implementation of innovative technologies to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide help desk support for hardware, software, network, and system issues.
- Troubleshoot problems with PCs, laptops, printers, and other devices.
- Respond to service requests and incidents from employees.
- Install, configure, and update software and hardware.
- Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Perform regular backups and system recovery operations.
- Manage LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Maintain network security through access controls, updates, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor security measures (e.g., antivirus, firewalls).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and data protection regulations.
- Set up new user accounts, workstations, manage permissions, roles, and access control.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes with IT provisioning.
- Document technical issues and solutions for future reference.
- Create user manuals or IT guides and Maintain inventory of IT assets.
- Support the implementation of new systems or software and participate in IT-related upgrades, migrations, or digital transformation projects.
- Liaise with vendors for hardware/software procurement and support.
- Any other duties assigned by Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support or system administration (minimum of 5- 10years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of IT networks, security protocols, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Salary
N450,000 – N700,000 Monthly.
