Procurement Process Manager Job Overview
The Procurement Process & Performance Manager will oversee procurement reporting and performance optimization at the country level, aligning local operations with global and zone strategies. The role involves managing Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, providing analytical support, and ensuring savings targets align with budgets. Key responsibilities include supporting data-driven decision-making, maintaining procurement systems, and driving process improvements.
Procurement Process Manager Responsibilities
- Guide category managers on achieving savings targets and ensure alignment with budget goals.
- Oversee and submit all procurement reporting (local and global) within established timelines.
- Manage performance dashboards to enhance visibility and support strategic goals.
- Ensure effective use of master data (vendor, material, and customer records).
- Maintain procurement policies, ensuring compliance with Minimum Control Standards (MCS) and stakeholder approval.
- Map and optimize business processes for the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) framework.
- Facilitate performance improvement initiatives through data analysis and strategic insights.
- Support implementation of e-sourcing and e-procurement tools to drive efficiency and standardization.
- Work closely with IT, finance, and procurement teams to ensure robust data transparency and reporting tools.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting for procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in a relevant field (Finance-related qualifications are an advantage).
- Proven experience in managing and improving Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes or similar business systems.
- Strong understanding of financial acumen and procurement analytics.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and conducting data-driven analysis.
- Demonstrated project management skills, especially within procurement or IT environments.
